WINNIE's Story

Winnie is a very young GP. She is a gentle soul that at barely a year old has seen neglect and how cruel humans can be. She was dumped in the desert either pregnant or shortly after giving birth. No pups could be found we searched for days. She is so sweet and gentle. When found her ears were seriously infected and she has a severe hematoma of the ear. Which led to going into a serious ear surgery. In order to save her ear. She is healing wonderfully and while it will scar she will be ok. She will be getting spayed in a week or so. She will then be ready for a new home. She is great with people and she is great with other animals. She is ONLY for adoption for an inside home not as a yard or farm dog. If you would be interested please message for an application. She is 94lbs but needs to gain up to 15 lbs. She is a big gal but she is so sweet and gentle. Her adoption fee is $300 Her adoption fee covers her vetting and her microchip which is registered for life. Her vetting includes all her vaccines and her spay.

Desert Dog Den Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

See and animal and inquire. Ask a few questions to see if there is a good chance of a good fit then proceed to fill out application. After reviewing the application to follow up with an email and or call. Then if application is a good fit, then will proceed to verify facts and then set up a first visit. If the visit is a good fit then if they have other pets we will arrange a meet and greet of the new pet and the existing pets at the new potential home. If all goes well then we will proceed to complete the application and that includes, collecting adoption fees and signing paperwork finalizing. Supply the adopter a copy and completing the process. All pets will be microchipped and at the final process pet is then registered in new parents name and information
