She enjoys being held, sits patiently for baths, and is happiest when she's exploring the world around her taking in all the interesting sights and smells. Friendly with other dogs and eager to make new friends, Wilma is the kind of companion who fits easily into family life.
One of Wilma's favorite activities is playing fetch, and she's always ready for a game in the yard. She loves spending time outdoors, is highly food- and treat-motivated, and is a wonderful eater. She's also crate trained and does very well relaxing at home when her foster family is away.
Wilma is making excellent progress with her potty training and will continue to thrive with consistency and positive reinforcement in her new home. Like many young puppies, she's still teething and learning the ropes, but she's eager to please and responds well to encouragement.
Wilma's story is one of resilience. When she entered rescue, she was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter that very day. She had suffered a fracture to her front left leg possibly from being hit by a car and was withdrawn, frightened, and heartbroken. After spending two weeks in a splint and receiving the care she needed, Wilma has transformed. The sad little puppy who arrived at rescue has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, and playful girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind.
Now all Wilma needs is a family of her own a place where she can continue to grow, play, and be loved. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit and a remarkable story, Wilma Flintstone may be the perfect addition to your family.
