She had very little opportunity to experience the things every dog deserves: safety, comfort, play, affection, and the ability to simply relax.<br/><br/>And yet, you would never know it from the dog she is today.<br/><br/>Willow has an exceptionally sweet, gentle temperament. She shows no aggression toward people or other animals and approaches life with curiosity, happiness, and an incredible willingness to trust. Watching her discover what it means to be a dog — to play, explore, receive affection, sleep somewhere safe, and know that her next meal is coming — has been incredibly special.<br/><br/>She is approximately 1 year old and believed to be a Husky/Shepherd/Kelpie mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, healthy, and ready to find her forever home.<br/><br/>Willow is still a young dog, so she would love a family who will continue showing her the world, giving her opportunities to learn and play, and providing the consistency and security she missed early in life.<br/><br/>She’s already showing herself to be athletic and adventurous, and we have a feeling she’d make an incredible adventure buddy — whether that means hiking, exploring trails, or simply heading out to see what the day brings. She would thrive with an active family who is excited to include her in their life. In return, you get a dog whose capacity for happiness and affection is pretty remarkable.<br/><br/>After everything Willow has experienced, she isn't defined by her past. She's joyful, hopeful, loving, and ready for the life she should have had all along.<br/><br/>Now she just needs someone to choose her.
