Willow's Story

It's our pleasure to introduce you to Willow. She is one-and-a-half years old, is 41 pounds and she is spayed. She had us wrapped around her paws the second we met her...

The very best thing about Willow is how she develops relationships with people. Initially, she is so scared and shy that it makes us sad! Even through it all, she still makes an effort to trust new people. Once you have visited with her a few times, she connects and turns into the happiest wiggly good girl who can't contain her wiggles!

Willow has so much fun with some dogs! She seems to find safety and comfort in their presence in dogs who are confident and friendly. She will walk up next to one of her dog friends and just stand near them; just to be close to them. If your dog is welcoming and kind, Willow may really love time with them. She has really loved smaller dogs at the shelter! Kiddos should probably be about 9ish and older.

A quiet home setting with lots of love to give Willow would be perfect for her. Once she feels safe with someone, she is the most loving, beautiful shadow pup. Willow would love for her adopters to maybe work from home or be home relatively often. She is happiest being in the company of her people. Seeing Willow happy makes our hearts equally as happy.
