Willow Courtesy Listing's Story
Meet this sweet 8-month-old Pit Bull mix (and/or Boxer or Staffie?) who is looking for a family to call her own. Willow was surrendered to Moonbrook Veterinary Hospital in Jamestown on October 2, 2026, and while she is understandably very timid right now, she has already shown us that she can warm up with a little time, patience, and gentle interaction. She is not currently spayed but will be prior to adoption, and will need a family who understands that she may need some extra time and guidance as she learns to feel comfortable and confident in her new home.

We are looking for a family who is willing to put the time and effort into helping Willow succeed, whether that means working with her at home or taking her to a qualified trainer. She is young and has so much potential; she just needs someone willing to give her the patience, consistency, and love she deserves. At this time, we are unsure how she does with other animals or young children. Because of her timid nature, a home with older children or no children may be the best fit for her.
What she needs:• A patient and understanding family• Someone willing to work on training and confidence-building• A calm, stable environment• Lots of love and positive reinforcement• A commitment to helping her become the happy, confident dog we know she can be.
If you think you could be the right forever family for this sweet girl, questions can be directed to Moonbrook. Their contact info can be found on the last attachment. You can also email us at adoptions@caninerescue.org If you would like to send in your application, go to our website. www.caninerescue.org The link is beneath her picture when you open her profile.

Let’s help this beautiful girl find the loving home she deserves! Please share to help her find her people!

Just what is a Courtesy Listing? It is a list of dogs, that through no fault of their own are looking for a new home. NCCR has agreed to post these dogs until a home is found. Any adoption and rehoming fee will be arranged through Willow’s caregiver. The application will be forwarded to her caregiver where applications are reviewed and contact made to the interested parties. Please review the description to be sure you and Willow would be a good match.
