Willow's Story

Meet Willow

Willow is a young, beautiful girl—about a year and a half old and around 55 lbs—who is just beginning her second chance at life. She spent her whole world devoted to one person, and when that suddenly changed, she found herself confused and alone in a shelter. Despite that heartbreak, Willow is still so full of love to give—she just needs someone patient enough to help her feel safe again.

She forms deep bonds with her people and truly thrives on companionship. Because of this, Willow does experience some separation anxiety, but she’s already making great progress with structure and routine. She is crate trained and doing very well with house manners (about 80–90% housebroken). A crate or safe space when left alone will help set her up for continued success.

Willow is still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered adult dog, and her adopter will play a big role in guiding her. With consistency and love, she will absolutely blossom into the loyal, well-balanced companion she’s meant to be.

She enjoys the company of other dogs when introduced properly and would do best with slow, thoughtful meet-and-greets. Busy environments like dog parks can be overwhelming for her, so a calmer setting is ideal.

One of Willow’s favorite things? Stretching out in the sunshine in her foster dad’s fenced yard, soaking up the warmth and just being at peace. It’s in those quiet moments you really see the sweet, gentle soul she is.

Willow isn’t looking for just any home—she’s looking for her person. Someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she’s always deserved. In return, she’ll give you a bond that is truly something special.

Fostered in Port Saint Lucie, FL
Out-of-state adoptions are welcome for the right family (adopter is responsible for travel expenses)
Apply to adopt: www.applythreestooges.com
