Willow - ADOPTION PENDING!!!'s Story

Willow came to rescue as an owner surrender when her owner had some ongoing medical issues and could no longer take care of her. She has been in a foster/board and train situation for a few months and has brushed up on her manners and training and we have gotten to know her pretty well! She is good with other dogs and good with kids. We do not have any experience with her with cats so at this point we would say she would do best in a home without feline friends. She will crate up and she is housebroken. Willow is up to date on all of her vettiing. She does have some food allergies and needs to be on a specific diet of Hills Science Diet chicken and barley dry dog food, We did try to transition her over to a different food and her system did not tolerate it at all so she will need to remain on that food. She also has some random foot itchiness that crops up every once in a while that is taken care of (seems to be seasonal?) with over the counter topical ointment or cream and/or wipes. She does have a small bump on her elbow that the vet believes is a skin tag and is not attached. It has been there for a while and does not bother her. If that seems to be an issue, the family will consider helping to having it removed if necessary. Willow is a petite girl and is considered a 'Boggle'...a Boxer/Beagle mix.

Willow is currently still located at the foster/board and train facility in southern Minnesota. We would love to get her in a foster, foster to adopt or adoptive home before the holidays....please consider adding Willow to your pack!
