Willow's Story

(DOB 10/31/2022) Willow is really as sweet as she is beautiful. She has a happy smile that is almost always gracing her goregeous face. She has joy that radiates love and kindness. She is such a doll and will make a family very happy! If that family has kids, even better; Willow is sweet, gentle and loving to little ones. Her ideal home would have kind children who would love to play and spend time with her.

Willow is a true outdoor enthusiast, and if there are squirrels around, she'll be in heaven, running after them; maybe one day we will see her tree climbing skills as she follows their trail! Willow also enjoys daily walks with her family and is pretty good on a leash and is learning to not pull when she sees those furry little critters. She would love a 6ft tall fence but it isn't a requirement. Speaking of fences, she's got some serious “basketball jumping skills,” so she'll need a solid fence to keep her safe while she runs around, romps, runs, and explores.

Willow can be describe as a lovable and sweet hound with a gentle heart! While she's a little shy at first, her kindness shines through once she gets to know you. Willow is the type of dog who tries her best to please everyone she meets and quickly becomes a loyal friend. She adores playing with her foster sister and would do best in a home with another friendly, happy 4-legged sibling who enjoys fun and companionship.

Willow is crate trained and is happy to find a place on the sofa or chair to take a nap. She would love a family where someone is home often because she loves to be with her family! In the kitchen, Willow is eager to "help" – or rather, snag a tasty snack when you're not looking! If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion who loves to please, Willow might just be the perfect fit for your family.

As part of Willow's $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Willow, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
