She is an incredible dog that is generally (85% of the time) the most cuddly, loveable, sweet Chow Chow. But the one behavioral issue that is causing the need to rehome her is that her zoomies turn into overexcitement with jumping and nipping. To her the nip is playful, but to the recipient, especially a child, it is painful/dangerous. And she is a chow so telling her no, or to stop, is of little to no consequence to her. At this point we can't have her off leash near our children, which is just not fair to her. She will make a wonderful dog for the right person or family with older children. She is AKC. Has had pet insurance with no lapse since birth.

Anyone who's ever had chowchows and has experience with them knows that Chows tend to play rough. This is not an aggressive act on their half. They are naturally bursting with energy and have zoomies and then they will collapse. Like big couch, potatoes.

Chow experience and no small children
