Willie's Story

Meet Willie! Willie is a 3 year old, 35 lb Norwich Terrier mix. Willie found himself at the local animal control, most likely dumped by his humans. Willie was very misunderstood at the shelter and was deemed aggressive. Unfortunately this is common. A lot of smaller dogs really shut down and bark in a manner that makes shelter workers nervous. We knew we had to step in for this boy and are so glad we did.

Willie is thriving in his foster home. He gets along great with all dogs and loves to play with his toys. He rides great in the car and will make a wonderful companion. He has not been around cats and we would recommend if he does go to a home with children they are teenagers. Willie is shy to warm up to adults but after a few mins he is just fine! We think he was not treated well by his previous owners and was possibly abused. We will ensure this will never happen to him again!

Willie is fully vetted! He is up to date on all shots, neutered and microchipped. He is heartworm negative! He is current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. He’s available locally for meet and greets and cannot wait to meet his forever family!
