William's Story

Three year old William is one of the most special boys we've ever known. And he almost lost his life simply due to an injury that doesn't affect his life very much.

William was likely hit by a car in the past. It left him with some subtle injuries which cause him to need a little extra maintenance after he potties. His owner dumped him at a high kill shelter to be euthanized. We pulled him out of there and he has shown us what life is all about.

William LOVES to run around the yard. He feels such joy in all the simple things- the morning sunshine, the feel of grass under him, and even a dog or two to romp around with.

He does better in an environment that is on the quieter side. A lot of chaos in the home wouldn't be good for William. He thrives with routine and shows us, every day, that he is just a normal dog who needs a tiny bit of extra care.

William is in Texas but as soon as we have an approved adopter for him, he can be transferred out of state.

If you think you have the perfect home for William please apply for him at homerunhounds.org
