Wilder's Story
Meet Wilder!

This beautiful boy is believed to be a Husky/Shepherd mix and around 2-3 years old. We first met Wilder in a shelter when we asked them to show us their hardest dog to move, which meant he was highest risk for euthanasia. Why? Because he was scared. Wilder was cowered down in the corner of his concrete kennel shaking fear. He had been captured out in the wild, and there's no telling how long he was on the run. He is about 60 pounds so it wasn't easy for staff to lift him to go outside, so he would stay in his kennel 24/7.

We immediately saved him that day and took him home to a foster. He decompressed rather quickly and that's when we saw him blossom. He is VERY dog friendly and loves the company of his doggy friends. He is now leash trained, crate trained, and potty trained. He loves having a fenced yard and enjoys playing fetch or doing zoomies. He is super toy motivated, and for that reason, probably best suited in a home without small animals.

Wilder is an active dog but also has a chill side. He is a quiet and easy going dude. He could be a great adventure buddy for walks/runs/hikes and then pass out on the couch for a snooze after. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on prevention. He just had his heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption.

Apply to adopt Wilder on our website:

BridgeBetweenAnimalRescue.org/adopt
