Wilbur Dean's Story
Meet Wilbur Dean!

If happiness had a mascot, it would probably look a lot like Wilbur. This adorable 3-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix is a happy, friendly little dude who seems to wake up every day with one mission: enjoy life as much as possible. And judging by that permanent smile on his face, he’s doing a pretty great job of it.

Wilbur loves just about everything—car rides, cuddling with his people, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s the kind of dog who is always ready to tag along for whatever the day brings, whether that’s a quick errand, a cozy movie night, or simply hanging out with his favorite humans.

He’s also a well-mannered little guy. Wilbur is both crate trained and house trained, and he’s great with kids. When the day winds down, he’s more than happy to curl up next to you and enjoy some quality snuggle time.

Wilbur does have a couple of quirks. The vet’s office isn’t exactly his favorite place, so he does best being muzzled for nail trims. He’s also decided that cats and chickens are far too exciting to live with—after getting himself into a bit of mischief chasing the neighbor’s birds—so a home without them will be the best fit for this enthusiastic little guy.

Wilbur Dean is neutered, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
To meet Wilbur Dean, please submit an application atwww.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on vaccines and prevention and be spayed or neutered to be approved for adoption.

If you’re looking for a cheerful, cuddly co-pilot who greets every day with a wag and a smile, Wilbur Dean might just be your perfect match. 🐾😊
