Wilbur can be good with dogs. Mayday will help with dog introductions if you currently have ones in your home. Cats are likely not a good mix as Wilbur likes to chase too much. Wilbur loves playing with toys and playing in the hose. He is potty trained, crate trained, and loves to ride in the car. Wilbur came to Mayday with medical issues that caused him to be hairless. Those issues are now under control, and he is growing more fur every day. Ongoing maintenance (daily meds and doctor follow-ups) will be needed for his dry eye, allergies, and his thyroid. At Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy, we get to know the traits and personalities of our dogs very well and try to make the best match between dog and pet parent. Pets are for a lifetime. Please be sure to keep this in mind when considering adopting a pet from us. The following requirements must be met in order to adopt an animal from Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy: -Local resident -Dogs live in home -No HOA or rental restrictions -Home visit -Financially able to care for the dog -Investment in training when necessary -Dog introductions -Patience -Love Please complete the online application form if you are interested in adopting a dog from us.
