Wilbur's Story

Hi, I’m Wilbur — a blue-gray little potato with a very big heart.

I’m a bully breed mix (probably more Staffy than Pittie), perfectly compact, delightfully squishy, and just an all-around good guy. I came to The Pittie Project PNW after being pulled from Norman, CA, thanks to an incredible volunteer who was determined to make sure I got out and got my chance. Because of that, I’m here — and I’m so ready to find my forever family.

The best way to describe me? Easy. I’m wonderful with people, fantastic with other dogs, and just genuinely happy to be part of whatever’s going on. Big dogs, small dogs, playful dogs, chill dogs — I’m cool with all of them. Humans? Even better. I love them all.

I’ve got that classic bully charm: goofy, affectionate, and content just being near my people. I don’t need to be the center of attention — I just want to belong. Whether that’s hanging out with canine friends, cruising through the day with my humans, or soaking up some well-earned love, I’m all in.

I’m the kind of dog who makes life feel a little lighter. No drama. No chaos. Just a solid, sweet, lovable companion who’s grateful for his second chance and ready to give his whole heart to the people who choose him.

If you’re looking for a friendly, social, happy-go-lucky dog who fits right into a pack — two-legged or four-legged — I might just be your guy.

Think we could be a match?
www.thepittieprojectpnw.org/apply
