WILBUR's Story
Meet Wilbur. This adorable boy was rescued from a local shelter with some medical issues. He had a prolapsed urethra. That has been repaired and was neutered at the same time. He is current on vaccines and heartworm prevention. He is still very much a puppy, around a year old. He does exhibit resource guarding when in his kennel and with his food. He will need to be in a home without small/young children because of that behavior. He loves cats and plays well with submissive dogs. His current foster home has other dogs & cats. He will let you know if he doesn't want you messing with him. In true bulldog stubborn mentality, he is not fully house trained. He will need someone who is willing to work with that and be patient with him. We think some of that is due to the issue he had when we rescued him. Must be Dallas-Fort Worth area to adopt. Adoption Application required. Adoption fee is $600
