His family loved him but realized they didn’t have the time a young dog needs, so they began searching for a rescue to help him find the right home. Wilbur was in Mexico and needed veterinary care, and a wonderful foundation reached out to us to see if we could take him in. We happily said yes!<br/>Wilbur has now received the care he needed and is healthy, happy, and ready for his forever family. True to his breed, Wilbur is a typical hound—always cheerful and not shy about vocalizing his feelings. He loves to “talk” and will happily let you know what’s on his mind.<br/>Wilbur adores other dogs and would love a home with a playful canine companion. He also loves people and is a total snuggle bug who enjoys affection and quality time with his humans.<br/>Wilbur is an all-around wonderful dog who’s ready to give lots of love. He’s hoping to find an equally wonderful family to call his own.<br/>Wilbur‘s adoption fee: $600We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
