Wilbur's Story
### Meet Wilbur

Wilbur is a gentle little senior with the sweetest soul, and after a little detour, he's once again looking for his forever home.

Wilbur originally came up from Mexico with his best buddy, Douglas. The two were adopted together, but sadly returned when Douglas did not do well with the adopter's husband. Through it all, Wilbur has remained the same happy, loving little guy he has always been. He has gained a few pounds but we are working them off.

We were told Wilbur is 12 years old, although you wouldn't always guess it! He still has moments where he bounces around like a much younger pup. He is incredibly friendly, with a tail that seems to be wagging almost all the time.

Wilbur has no teeth and a slightly crooked jaw, but honestly, those little quirks just make him even more adorable. And then there's his tiny tongue that loves to peek out, giving him the sweetest, most endearing expression.

This little guy is wonderfully low-key and is happiest simply being close to his people. He loves to cuddle and enjoys the company of other little dogs. He gets along wonderfully with his doggy friends, including Clifford and Douglas.

Wilbur is also a pretty polite little gentleman. He knows how to use a doggy door, seems to be doing very well with his potty training, and is quiet and content in his kennel. He sleeps in bed with his foster, curled up with Douglas.

And while Wilbur would love to have a home of his own, **he would absolutely LOVE to find his way back home with his bestest buddy Douglas.** They have been through a lot together, and there is something pretty special about the bond these two share.

If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and would love a sweet little companion to share your couch, your home, and your heart, Wilbur may be just the guy you've been waiting for.

Adoption fee is $450 plus tax
Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org
