Wilbert's Story

Wilbert is a 3MO, 10lb floppy, adorable pup. We are guessing he will be about 20-25lbs when full grown. Wilbert and his siblings are all different and unique, which makes it hard for us to even guess what breeds they truly are. Honestly we have zero idea what their breeds are, but we know they are absolutely adorable, unique, and so, so sweet.

Wilbert and his siblings were found as strays in a rural part of Texas. They were absolutely terrified at first. A wonderful rescue lady in the area brought all the pups back to her house and kept them safe until we could get them into our rescue program. They have really started to come out of their shells and learn all that life has to give - when you aren't busy fighting for your life in the middle of nowhere.

Wilbert and his siblings are typical puppies. They love to play with each other, romp around with the fosters other dogs, and follow the foster around, cuirously watching them. They love to snuggle and hang out. Their forever families will need to be patient with them as they continue to learn all that life has to offer and that humans are kind and safe. While they have little legs, they would still love to have a sibling to play with or someone who can take them on daily walks/adventures and get them continual mental stimulation and socialization.

If you are interested in adopting Wilbert or one of his siblings, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com
