Wicket's Story
Wicket is a very loving, sweet and shy girl. She loves pets, giving kisses and lots of lap time. She will do best in a calm home with someone who is home most of the day. She does not like to be crated or left alone for long periods of time. Wicket does sleep in a crate beside her foster mom’s bed at night and will sleep through the night confident that her humans are close beside her.

Wicket loves other dogs except during feeding time and does not like to share her toys, which she treats like her “babies”. Supervised meals and playtime will prevent any jealousy or food fights.

She likes to be outside to sniff and follow her foster siblings around. She is doing really well with house training but needs to be kept on a schedule for continued success.

The perfect home for Wicket will be with someone who can give her the attention she craves and who has patience and experience with rescue dogs. She will do well in a home with another laid-back dog who won’t challenge her for resources, and a securely fenced yard for her security.
