Whoopie's Story

Hi! My name is Whoopie! I am a beautiful 7-year-old flashy brindle girl that was found as a stray in the San Antonio area. I have left big city life and am now in the care of the rescue and spending a few nights with a temp foster. Despite my sugar face, I have the spirit of a young gun! I am a sweet gal that gets the zoomies, love chasing squirrels in the backyard, and cuddling on the couch! I am leash trained, house trained, and crate trained! I will stay in the crate overnight without a fuss but prefer to sleep in the bed with the humans. I recently met a cat and was not a fan, so I need a cat free home please! I like to see what the humans are doing and if I can be a part of it so I will follow the humans from room to room to keep a close eye. I recently attended the rescue's adoption day event and interacted with a human toddler and was gentle and great with them! I have good manners and do not jump and am very respectful of personal space. If you think I would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!

If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application

https://austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/

If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application

http://austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/

Our volunteers will work with you to find the best dog for your home.
