Whoopee Cushion's Story

Meet Whoopee Cushion!

Don't you love a couch potato? So do we! And while she doesn't actually make fart noises when you squeeze her, she does lean in and groan contentedly when you scratch the right spots. (She may actually make fart noises depending on what you're feeding her, but so far we have managed to avoid that.)

She came to us as an owner surrender after her people were no longer able to physically care for her. She is housetrained and walks nicely on leash, but potential adopters should be mindful that at 75lbs if she decides to investigate something on a walk, she IS going to check out that tree and you will be going along for the ride unless you have excellent dog handling skills or a regular Cross-Fit workout routine.

Whoopee Cushion is fairly sedate as is common with Mastiff mixes and takes treats gently so we think she would be okay with children. She has never lived with a cat as far as we know. Based on her interactions with dogs here at the shelter, we think she will do best as the only dog in a home.

If you're looking for a big girl who will gracefully lounge about your home and whose main talent is looking cute and rolling over for belly rubs, we'd love to have you meet her. You can start the adoption process by filling out an adoption application on our website: www. hsmcohio.org

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash. If you are interested in this dog, please call the shelter at 614-879-8368 or fill out an online application at www.hsmcohio.org
