Whitney's Story

Meet Whitney, a little ray of sunshine with a BIG personality! This sweet girl is affectionate, playful, outgoing, and always ready for fun. She is good with kids and other dogs, although her puppy energy can sometimes be a bit much for a lower-energy dog. She'd do best with a playful canine friend who can keep up and set boundaries. Whitney loves meeting new people, isn't intimidated by bigger dogs, and walks nicely on a leash. And fair warning—this girl can be talkative! She loves to hear herself, so apartment living may not be best for her. When the zoomies are over, she's always ready for cuddles!

Whitney is a female Mixed-Breed puppy, born in April 2026, and expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. She's still a young pup with plenty to learn, including potty training. She's not potty trained yet, but she's already showing she's a quick learner—after just two nights in a weekend foster home, she was beginning to catch on!

Whitney is a fun-loving little whirlwind who will keep you smiling from morning to night. She's ready for a family who can give her playtime, training, exercise, structure, and plenty of love. In return, she'll give you endless tail wags, puppy kisses, snuggles, and a lifetime of loyalty. Whitney isn't just looking for a home—she's looking for her furever adventure!

Adopting from the SPCA of the Triad means giving your new companion a healthy and happy start! Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and heartworm testing, so you can feel confident your furry friend is ready for their new home.

Whitney also comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists and online materials to help ensure a smooth transition into a new home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy, and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday through Friday).

Interested in adopting or learning more about our animals?
