Meet the new guy, whiskey sunrise! This treeing Walker coonhound is like a shot of southern whiskey - rough around the edges, but with a heart of gold. He’s still learning the ropes and has never lived in a house, but he’s got a big personality and loves to be adored. He’s only around a year old and loves playing with other dogs and is learning that life is great!<br/><br/>Augusta dog adoptions is a 501(c)(3), foster based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Virginia. A $175 adoption fee ( 300 for Puppies under six months old parent ) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. . All dogs are spayed or neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne disease, diseases, micro, chipped, and vaccinated for rabies if old enough. They’ve also received their distemper/Parvo and Bordetella. They are treated for internal and external parasites also.
