Whiskey's Story
Some dogs have a way of making everybody fall in love with them. Whiskey is one of those dogs.

Ask our staff. Ask our volunteers. This sweet, happy boy has a whole shelter full of people who adore him! Everybody takes him out for walks and enjoys spending time with him. He’s simply a good, good dog, and whoever gets to call him family will be very lucky.

Whiskey’s favorite place is with his people. Picture that sweet face looking up at you, happy just to be together. He’d love someone who is home more often because being away from his family is hard for him. He gets along with other dogs; we’re unsure about cats.

His journey to this point has been nothing short of miraculous. When he arrived at UPAWS, he was suffering from severe seizures and couldn’t eat, drink, or walk. Seeing the happy boy he is today, it’s hard to believe how far he’s come. The key has been making sure he gets his medicine every day. His new family must be committed to continuing that daily medication and have an established veterinarian.

Whiskey has so many people who love him. Now he’s ready for people—and a home—of his very own. ??

Interested in making Whiskey part of your family? Please fill out an adoption interest form so our staff can talk with you about his needs and learn about the home you could offer him. We want his next chapter to be a lasting, loving match.

UPAWS is open noon–4 p.m., with no appointment needed. Whiskey is not included in the Subaru adoption promotion.

There are happy walks, cozy evenings, and a whole lot of love ahead for this boy. We can’t wait for him to share them with his very own family!
