Whiskey's Story

Whiskey is a show stopper. With an athletic grace, and unique chestnut-colored features, it's hard to not do a double take when you see her!

At roughly 3.5 years old, Whiskey is the definition of an adventure buddy. She loves getting out for walks, exploring, and staying active, but she's also content lounging around on the couch with a toy.

She will climb a fence if left to her own devices, so she's looking for a home where her energy is channeled into fun outings with her people.

Whiskey's relationship with other animals can be complicated. She would ultimately do well as the only dog in the home, but if the right home comes around, we would consider a meet and greet with another dog.

Whiskey's History:

- 7/23: Arrived as a stray and reclaimed
- 3/18/24: Turned loose in a parking lot
- 4/18/24: Adopted
- 8/1/25: Returned due to fence-jumping and stirring up mischief with the other dog at home
- 11/21/25: Began trial adoption
- 1/6/26: Returned due to not getting along with the other dog in the home

Whiskey has actually developed her own cult following and we have volunteers and visitors come in just to spend time with her! She's a very sweet dog and we just want her to find her happy ending.
