Whiskey's Story

**Hi. I'm Whiskey. Yes, *that* Whiskey. **
You may have noticed I'm absolutely **stunning**. I get that a lot. I'm a Mountain Cur/Plott Hound mix (allegedly), around **6 years young** (DOB 12/15/19), and I've been at WAG for almost **3 years** - which feels wild and kind of unbelievable, because all I really want is a person to call my own.

I'm not built for couch potato life. I'm built for **adventures**. Hiking, tracking, dock diving, long walks, or running full speed alongside the WAG golf cart (I *love* that one). I'm incredibly athletic and one of the fastest dogs you'll ever meet - but I promise, I slow down nicely for cuddles and pets with my people.

And oh... I **love** my people. I live for attention, affection, praise, and knowing it's finally my turn to go out. I aim to please and my whole face lights up when I'm with someone I trust. I'm happiest when I'm included, exploring the world with my favorite hooman by my side.

Now, let's be honest (because I believe in honesty):
Other dogs? I'm selective.
Cats? Not my thing.
Home life? I prefer being your **one and only**.

I do best with structure and an active, experienced handler. I'm happiest outdoors and staying busy, and if I'm left alone inside, I'm most comfortable being crated (I've learned that helps me succeed). Kennel life has been hard, and I think I'd be calmer and happier in a real home where I can finally relax and belong.

WAG will support you every step of the way - and if it's not the right fit, they always take their dogs back (with an adoption fee refund in the first 30 days).

So if you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, adventurous best friend who's been waiting far too long for her forever...
**Hi. I'm Whiskey. I've been saving all this love just for you.**

352-528-9888 | Facebook IM
Apply at **willistonanimalgroup.org/adopt**

Let's go do life together.
