LIFT University is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. Waifs with Wisdom is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.<br/>- I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!<br/>- I was house trained in my previous home.<br/>- I’m smart and food/treat motivated. I already know sit and shake! <br/>- Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all! <br/>- During my time at Wayside, I enjoy being around other dogs.<br/>- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. One of my eyes is icy blue and the other is a deep brown. Yep, I’ve got that "two different worlds" kind of stare, and I’ve been told it’s pretty unforgettable!<br/><br/>I’m not just a handsome face, though... I’ve got the brains and manners to match! I’m already housetrained and crate trained, so I know the routine and like having a cozy space of my own. I also know commands like "sit" and "shake," and since I’m super treat motivated, I’d love to keep learning more with you. Training time + snacks = my kind of fun!<br/><br/>I’m an active guy who really enjoys getting out and exploring. Whether it’s going for a hike, playing outside, or just staying busy with ALL the toys (seriously, I love them all), I’m happiest when I have something to do. I can even entertain myself when needed, but I also love being near my people and hanging out together. Call me Hannah Montana because I’m the Best of Both Worlds! <br/><br/>I’ll need to meet any dog friends before going home, and if there are cats, I’ll do best with a slow and thoughtful introduction. With the right setup, I’m ready to be a great companion. I’d thrive in an active home that can keep up with my energy, curiosity, and love for adventure.
