Meet Weston!<br/><br/>Weston is a fun-sized, 35-lb poodle mix with a big personality just waiting to shine. We see a little spaniel in him as well, which makes for an interesting combination. Regardless of his breed, we are certain you will find that Weston is a definite keeper!<br/><br/>Weston was found running along a country road and followed by a good samaritan trying to help him. When Weston finally tired, he allowed the gentleman to scoop him up and take him to a shelter. The rest is history...he is now at STAF and ready to prove to you that he is one very special dog.<br/><br/>Like many neglected doodles, Weston's coat was severely matted and had to be shaved. While he may be missing his fluffy locks for now, his adorable personality more than makes up for it.<br/><br/>When you first meet Weston, he can be a little shy and unsure. Give him a few minutes though, and you'll quickly see his sweet side emerge. He enjoys being petted and spending time with people who are patient and kind. Once he's comfortable, Weston transforms into a goofy, playful little guy who loves showing off his zoomies in the yard. Weston loves attention (who wouldnt?) and is ready to jump into your lap and settle in for what he hopes are endless belly rubs. He gets along with his shelter mates and is sweet natured with all the volunteers. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.<br/> You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.<br/> Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.<br/> We do request vet and personal references.<br/> We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
