Weston's Story

To complete an adoption application, click here: /forms/form?formid=5879<br/>Weston is an adorable older man with a lot of life left to live. Weston is a big shepherd and is right now 88# and still underweight! This sweetheart is very social and confident and does well around other dogs publicly and is not at all reactive. He does have some resource guarding issues though we are working on and so at this point it would be safest to not adopt him out to a home with other dogs or small children unless the owner is well versed in behavior modification and has breed experience. He has lived in a home with both but we don't want to put anyone at risk. Weston does have a small degree of gastrointestinal disease that he gets vitamin B12 injections and a special food to manage. We are open to and would love to find Weston a "forever foster" where someone gives Weston a forever home but we manage his medical needs. The qualifications for this kind of home be that you are willing to transport him to our vets in Cedar Falls, IA or Waverly, IA.
