Wendy's Story
Wendy is a six year old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs sixty-five pounds. She is very playful and friendly. Her favorite game is fetch, but she's also content to just play with her toys on her own when you are busy. Wendy loves to be around people and wants all the attention she can get.

Wendy is dog-selective, so she will require introductions to any other dogs in her adopter's home. Wendy does not get along well with cats.

Wendy is reported to have had two seizures in the past, but has not had any during her stay at the shelter. She has been checked by our veterinarian, but they didn't find anything that would have caused seizures, and suspect the seizures were epileptic. Wendy's adopters will need to be aware of the possibility that she may have more seizures in the future, and may need to be medicated for them if they become a common occurrence.

Wendy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Wendy her forever home, please send us an e-mail at Dogs@headwatersanimalshelter.org or give us a call at 218-237-7100
