Weizer in Colorado's Story

Meet Weizer in Colorado!

Weizer is an amazing old guy, and you are sure to fall in love with him as soon as you meet him (or maybe by looking at his photographs because he is THAT CUTE)! Not only is he adorable, he also has a lot of positive traits. He’s affectionate, knows a lot of commands, is house trained and crate trained, and is a great mix of being mellow, but also likes to get out for strolls and adventures.

Weizer loves people, and lives for getting attention and love. He loves getting new people to pet him, and has done well with the kids he has met so far. He currently lives in a home with cats, and has done well so far, but has not had off leash experience with cats as of yet. He has done well with the dogs he’s met as well, but does best when introduced properly with a little bit of space and time to get to know each other.

Weizer loves his slow paced strolls with plenty of opportunities for sniffing. He’s happy to relax on a dog bed, human furniture, or even in a crate. A heated blanket is a plus! He loves a treat filled Kong, rope tug, antlers and showing off his stuffed toys to any visitor. He leans his entire body into you when getting pets and he can't wait for his forever family to fall in love with his cute face and sweet heart.

Weizer is neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all of his veterinary care. He does have some arthritis and joint pain, so is on medication and supplements to help him feel his best. Now all he needs is a forever home and family of his own.
