Weezy's Story
Weezy is a 3 year old French Bulldog that weighs about 25lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention.

Weezy came to Southern Cross because he developed a pretty severe skin infection common for his breed and his previous owner was not able to manage that. His skin issues are now well managed with medicated baths($25 per bottle that lasts about 2 months) twice weekly and Cytopoint injection($65) every 6-8 weeks. This will need to be continued long term, along with a grain free diet.

Weezy is a typical Frenchie...small body, big personality. He absolutely loves to snuggle with his person. His ideal home would be one where someone is home the majority of the time. He does nip when he plays so a home without small children will be needed. This is easily corrected with a firm command. Weezy has alpha energy and would do best in a home without other dogs or with one other submissive dog. He does show some resource guarding with his food or toys, so he will need to be fed seperate from other dogs in the home.

Weezy has a ton of great traits! He is crate trained and will go to bed in his crate when he needs a nap. He is housebroken and can partially use a doggy door. A little more practice and he will be a pro! He is a vocal guy(typical Frenchie) and will absolutely tell you when he is ready to eat, needs to go out, or just wants attention. He walks well on leash, rides in the car like a champ, and is friendly with any person who wants to look his way!

This little guy is going to make someone a fun companion!

If you would like to give Weezy his forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $500. He is being fostered in Huntingdon, TN. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to where the dog is being fostered in order to adopt them.

For a complete listing of all of our available Bostons, or to learn more about SCBTR, please visit our website at www.southerncrossbtr.com.
