Wednesday's Story

Meet Wednesday, a 1-2 year old mixed breed sweetheart searching for her forever home. Our best guess is a Yorkie/Poodle mix of some sort, but we aren't positive.

True to her namesake, she’s tiny in size and utterly unfazed by chaos unless she’s the one creating it. She moves through the world with an air of seriousness that instantly melts the moment she decides you’ve earned her trust and affection.

Currently just 10 pounds, she sticks close to her chosen people, offering steady loyalty, quiet companionship, and the occasional spark of playful mischief. She loves predictable routines, cozy areas, and keeping an eye on household happenings with an observant nonjudgmental gaze. She doesn’t seek attention right away, though once she’s at ease, she reveals a loving nature and a delightfully gentle sense of fun.

Wednesday is crate-trained and house-trained in her foster home. She gets along well with other dogs but sometimes needs a moment to get to know them. She is fostered in a home with children, and she does well. She already knows a couple of basics like “sit” and “no,” and she’s quickly picking up new words, especially the ones that lead to treats. She’s perfectly content on car rides as long as she can be with the people she loves.

Wednesday will settle beautifully into any home that meets her with the love she’s ready to share. Adopt Wednesday, because every family deserves a touch of darkness done right.

To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org
Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
