Wayne's Story

Mister smushiest sweetheart, Wayne has been waiting since 2/19/26 to catch someone’s eye
This adorable boy is wonderful and like so many of us, has some likes and dislikes, and as a senior boy(8), he absolutely is allowed to have his golden years be what he hopes them to be! Wayne knows that people aren’t lining up for him, but he still waits with his little nubby tail, wagging, ready for the moment someone’s sees him for who he is! We know his family is out there, and would super appreciate you all sharing his post in hopes that by some small miracle his family sees him and applies to change his life foreverWayne loves his dog friends, but tends to be a little selective with them(me too buddy) and he isn’t a huge fan of high strung energy, or lots of in your face play. He likes calmer dogs who match his play, and understand him when he needs a break from playing. So he’s able to go to a home with another dog, if they meet and their energies match! He is however a no cats, dog. And this goes for smaller dogs as well, as he gets a little too interested in smaller creatures.
Wayne is fully crate trained, house trained, LOVES kids and walks nicely on a leash but is on the stronger side so someone who can make sure they can handle him while walking(a harness will help a lot). He’s a fantastic dog, who is waiting for you to find him! And thank you to Kaitlyn Watrous Award-Winning Maine Pet Photographer for these awesome pics of our sweet boy!!!
#theminnissanctuary #adoptabledogs #adopt #rescuedogs #mainedogs
