Waylon's Story

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT MASSPAWS. SEE CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW FOR THIS SPECIAL PUP.

Meet Waylon, a delightfully good boy who loves life!

If you value a genuine relationship with a dog, Waylon is your guy. Approximately 5- to 6-years-old, he is not just smart and dedicated, he is keenly in tune with his person. He will look to you for direction and remain within ear shot.

A big part of Waylon’s life is his love and need for daily exercise and off-leash time. He loves to run free, but being such a good boy, he is normally in sight and comes back when called. He also walks well on a leash.

Waylon has a good foundation of manners - sit, down, paw, and fetch. He deserves someone who will hold him to these skills and continue his training. He’s also an excellent traveler and loves car rides.

Currently living in a rural area, Waylon has shown he’s a natural farm hand. He does well around horses and other large animals and is unfazed by farm equipment. He’d make a nice fur-sibling with a large resident dog who also likes to play hard. With a prey drive for small animals, no cats, small dogs, etc.

Waylon is great meeting lots of people during the rescue’s Sunday open houses. At first, he can be leary of men he doesn’t know, however if introduced with a cookie, he is generally fine. He’s been wonderful with children, but due to his size, older children are best.

We would love for him to be adopted by a family with land, but minimally a very large fenced yard for off leash play.

Please arrange to meet Waylon by contacting Live and Let Live Farm’s Rescue & Sanctuary in NH. Tell them Animal Rescue Konnection (ARK) sent you! Email Horsingaround8558@gmail.com and sbolster@mit.edu
