Waylon's Story

Meet Waylon!

Hi! My name is Waylon! I am a six (ish) year old chihuahua and I weigh ten pounds! I am neutered and house trained!

I am so excited for a new start in life. I was found tied to a tree with my buddy, Willie in Ocean Springs. My past human left my food and a few of my toys but I still don't understand why they left. I'm hoping someone will see me for the star I am! Even better if my friend and I could stay together but we understand we might need to split ways. If we find the perfect human for each of us, that would be wonderful!

I get along with other small dogs but I do get a little nervous around big dogs. I have been around teenage humans but it's unknown how I would be with little humans.

I do like to bark and howl occasionally if I get real excited but I am not destructive or aggressive. I just like to sing sometimes!

I have a little hair loss but I was covered in fleas. The fleas have been treated so my coat should come back just as luxurious as it should be.

Courtesy Post - Ocean Springs, MS

Interested in adopting Waylon and Willie?

The fleas have been treated so my coat should come back just as luxurious as it should be

Tired Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Tired Dog Rescue adoption fee includes all sets of vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal exam, spay/neuter and microchip. We also recommend that you research the breed that you want to adopt. Ask yourself....Can you afford the cost of a high maintenance dog such as a Cocker Spaniel or Shih-tzu etc? The grooming costs are about 50.00 every 6-8 weeks. Are you in a position to adopt a puppy which will require training? Can you afford the medical costs that might be involved in adopting a senior pup? We want every adoption to be for life so please think about what you can and what you are willing to do before considering each pet. If you are unsure please contact us and we can help answer any questions.
