Hi, I’m Watson!<br/><br/>I’m an adorable goofy guy whose heart is brimming with love to share! I am almost 2 years old! <br/><br/>My previous family cherished me deeply, but when they realized they couldn’t provide everything I needed, they made the loving decision to entrust me to PAWS, and now I’m on the search for my forever family.<br/><br/>I embrace life with open paws and a wagging tail! I’m incredibly enthusiastic. Though I can be a sensitive boy and might show a some shyness in new situations or when approached by some strangers, I warm up incredibly quickly—especially if there’s a fun toy or a yummy treat involved! I am currently on an anxiety medication to help me deal with the stress of shelter life as it was a very big adjustment for me.<br/><br/>Leash walks are my forte; I confidently stroll through neighborhoods and busy streets, curious and unbothered by the hustle and bustle around me. The PAWS staff often take me on exciting excursions to town, where I love exploring all the new smells and sights.<br/><br/>At heart, I’m just a joyful, goofy puppy in a big dog’s body, eager to please and still learning how to be the best companion. I’m well-behaved, gentle, and very playful. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and am a sweet boy around chickens, cats and horses too! Being a babysitter to the puppies of PAWS is by far my favourite job.<br/><br/>I absolutely adore snuggles, chin scratches, and playful times. I’m looking for a forever home where I can continue to thrive and share endless joy. I’d be happy as your only pet but would also love a doggy companion to share in my adventures. I dream of evenings spent snuggling on the couch, sharing warm, quiet moments with someone who loves life as much as I do. I know that once I am in a home,, I can show you just what a good boy I can be. Although I came from a home with children and seem to love kids, I can be a little nervous in new situations and with new people, I would probably do a better in a home without young children. I also am not always the best at knowing my size!<br/><br/>I am also looking for someone who is enthusiastic about continuing my training and working with a PAWS approved trainer.
