Watson

Meet Watson, a big, handsome sweetheart with a gentle soul and lots of love to give. Watson was adopted from a SC shelter over 5 years ago and became the beloved best friend of his previous owner, who affectionately called him Dr. Watson. Sadly, when his owner was no longer able to care for him, the family reached out for help so Watson could find the safe, loving home he deserves. Watson has been seen by our vet, received a good report, and is now up to date on his care. He is fostered with other dogs and is friendly, easygoing, and affectionate. Sometimes he is happy to relax and chill and other times he enjoys being playful. Watson can get nervous during thunder and fireworks, so he would do best with a patient family who can offer reassurance and comfort when he feels unsure. This sweet big boy is ready for a forever home and would love to be someone's close companion. One look into his beautiful eyes, and you will see just how much love he has to give. His foster says he is either wiggly or sleepy. So cute! As of July 2026, Watson is 6 years old and weighs 73 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We were told his DNA results showed Hound, Golden Retriever, and Beagle.
