Watson's Story

PLEASE NOTE THAT FILLING OUT A PETFINDER INQUIRY DOES NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION ON THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE. THANK YOU.

Meet Watson!

Watson is an adorable, high-energy 2 and 1/2-year-old male Brittany who came to New England Brittany Rescue from a loving family who could no longer care for him because of his seizure disorder. Thankfully, Watsons seizures are well-controlled with medication, and he is doing great. This sweet, active boy loves playing with his foster brother and keeping an eye on things during his regular backyard paw patrols. Watson has a typical Brittany "prey" drive, but his "affection" drive is just as strong—he loves his people and enjoys being part of the action.

Watson is house-trained and does well with adults, children, and other dogs. We think he would likely do well with cats, too, with a thoughtful introduction. Watson will need a fenced in yard, so that he can enjoy all of the Brittany activities.

Watson is looking for a home that understands the energy and enthusiasm of a young Brittany and is comfortable continuing his daily medication and veterinary care. In return, you'll get a playful, loving, devoted companion with lots of personality.

Watson has been neutered, is up to date with his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention and is microchipped.

If you're looking for an active best friend who is always ready for an adventure—or a cuddle—Watson may be your guy! If you're interested, please take a moment and fill out an online application at www.nebrittanyrescue.org We look forward to hearing from you.
