Wanda Sue's Story

Wanda Sue is looking for a calm, laid-back home where she can enjoy the simple things in life. She's happiest taking leisurely walks for her potty breaks and then heading right back inside for her favorite activities: lounging on the couch and soaking up belly rubs.

She settles into her crate with ease when left alone and even enjoys relaxing on top of it, where she finds comfort and security. She's a wonderful car companion and is always ready to hop in for an adventure. At bedtime, she'd happily snuggle up beside you, but she's just as content snoozing in a dog bed at the foot of yours. Wanda Sue would do well with a confident canine companion who won't be bothered by her occasional “old lady” opinions or as your solo sidekick. She enjoys plush toys, a good bone, and plenty of love from her people.

If you're looking for a loyal, low-key best friend, Wanda Sue may be your perfect match!

**This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter. If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.

Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization. We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received.
