Wanda (Bonded with Monroe)

Meet Wanda: A Chocolate Beauty with a Fiercely Loyal Heart

As one half of perhaps the cutest duo in the entire Rocky Mountain region, Wanda is a gorgeous 3-year-old black terrier mix. Operating as a complete package alongside her golden best friend Monroe, this sweet girl relies heavily on her lifelong companion for emotional support and must find a loving forever home together with her.

When relaxing indoors, Wanda truly rules her castle. She acts as a fearless leader of the pack and showcases an incredibly social personality within the safety of her own domain. However, stepping outside or encountering unfamiliar faces reveals a much more cautious side. Meeting strangers or potential canine companions causes her to become quite timid, requiring a gentle approach and plenty of time to feel secure.

Finding the perfect environment means locating a truly patient family willing to let both dogs decompress at their own speed. Establishing a predictable routine will help Wanda come out of her shell and eventually transform into the confident dog she is behind closed doors. To ensure a smooth and successful transition, a proper meet and greet with all household members beforehand remains essential. (Bonus: Welcoming Wanda and Monroe nto your home means experiencing double the affection and the pure joy of watching an unbreakable friendship flourish!)

Wanda's Adoption donation is $250 which includes vaccines, spay, and microchip.
