Wanda is the definition of love wrapped up in a wagging tail. After being the most wonderful mama, shes now ready for her turn to be someones whole world. <br/><br/>This sweet, silly girl has the cutest personality and a heart that just keeps on giving. Wanda loves people and is happiest right by your side, soaking up all the attention she can get. <br/><br/>Wanda is:<br/> - Great with kids<br/> - Wonderful on a leash<br/> - Excellent in the car<br/> - A world-class snuggler<br/> - Can go home with other submissive dogs, would like to meet potential dog siblings first! <br/> - She is also good with cats with a proper introduction<br/><br/>Recently, sweet Wanda got a much-needed break from the shelter thanks to one of our amazing volunteers. And what did she do with her special day?<br/><br/>She rode beautifully in the car, snuggled up close, and spent most of the day peacefully napping. For a few precious hours, Wanda got to forget the noise, the stress, and the uncertainty of shelter life.<br/><br/>But Wanda deserves more than just a day. She deserves a forever home.<br/><br/>Wanda is 4 years old and she weighs 67 lbs. . <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
