Wanda's Story

Meet Wanda! Smart, active, quiet, brave, and loyal...a beautiful energy, an athlete, an intelligent and fun loving soul! What an amazing energy this girl emits. She is a beautiful dog to see in person. We have been blown away at her absolutely perfect canine communication skills. Wanda has got talent! She is very in tune to her environment and the energy of people and dogs and has a gift when it comes to reading the energy of others. It has been our absolute pleasure to be in her presence and watch her work. Wanda loves other dogs and we use her for behavior work and socialization (for our under-socialized dogs) every chance we get. She tends to loosen them up and get them to feel more comfortable about the world. Her breed is naturally wary and/or aloof with strangers, however once she becomes more familiar, she is very playful, affectionate and loving with her people. She LOVES her squeaky toys! Partly genetic. Her genetics drive her to observe, work, scan, do, hunt, and learn. She leaps and runs like a gazelle, so beautiful and agile. Her athleticism is a joy to see. Her individual personality craves play, affection, and understanding and she will thrive with a calm, loving, human partner and leader. Wanda is very quiet. We've yet to hear her bark. Her mind is always at work though! Wanda is seeking a human that will provide more than your average amounts of exercise. A walk in the neighborhood and a big back yard are not enough to keep her happy and healthy mentally or physically. She was born to think and explore. If you were too, this might just be your girl! It is what brings her peace and purpose. Dogs Ok. Though we know Wanda would do fine with calm respectful children, that lifestyle isn't suited to that which brings her joy. What a beautiful soul. We seriously love working with this dog! Age 1 year. Approximately 55 lbs.
