Wanda's Story
Meet Wanda!

Wanda is a sweet 3-year-old, 28-pound girl with a heart full of love. Her favorite place is right by her people, and she'll even "hug" you by putting one paw on each of your shoulders! She loves belly rubs, chest scratches, car rides, splashing in the kiddie pool, and is just discovering how much fun toys, fetch, and running around the yard can be.

She's fully crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and does well with a consistent potty routine, though she may have an occasional accident if left too long between breaks. Wanda has wonderful manners around food, treats, toys, and bones, happily sharing and gently accepting treats. She's currently working on gaining a little weight and prefers to graze throughout the day.

Wanda absolutely loves people and has been making great progress with other dogs. She was initially unsure during introductions, especially when separated by gates, but with slow, patient introductions she's learned to play well and continues to gain confidence. She would do best with adopters who are willing to continue setting her up for success with proper introductions.

She can be a little anxious when left alone and would love a family where she can spend plenty of time with her people. Whether you live in a house or an apartment, Wanda's biggest wish is simply a loving home where she can continue blossoming into the amazing companion she's meant to be.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will love you with her whole heart, Wanda is ready to meet you.
