WALTER - joyful boy!

Meet Walter! This delightful fellow is waiting for his forever home. He was purchased from a breeder as a young puppy, but the poor boy was surrendered to a rural rescue when he grew into a large, active pup. (Considering his breed, what did they expect?!) Walter Was taken in by one of our rescue angels and he is now receiving plenty of TLC in foster care while he waits to hang his leash forever in a home.<br/><br/>Walter is a 2 year old purebred smooth-coated St. Bernard, weighing in at 110 pounds. . This fun-loving boy with personality plus is big, goofy love bug who will thrive in an active home. A fenced yard would be ideal for his daily playtime and exercise.. <br/><br/>Walter is house trained, sleeps in his kennel, and is coming along well with leash training He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. He isn't always aware of his size and strength and can get a bit "clutzy" , but he quickly respond well to direction. We think this silly exuberant boy, would love a home with older kids to play with. He has not been observed around cats. <br/><br/>This sweet gentle giant loves to please his people. He will entertain himself with toys and chew bones and has great fun playing fetch. He's neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.
