I'm a 2.5-year-old, 75-pound Staffordshire Terrier mix with strong lap dog dreams, a soft spot for belly rubs, and a love for life that's bigger than me! Not too long ago, I was just 30 minutes away from being euthanized - scared, confused, and unsure. But then someone saw something in me, brought me home, and gave me love and safety. Now I'm thriving and ready to find my forever family. I'm the perfect mix of playful and calm. I love zooming across the yard, playing with toys like a champ, and going on walks like a gentleman. I also adore snuggling on the couch, leaning in for head scratches, or curling up for a cozy nap. I know all my commands - sit, down, leave it, stay - you name it! I'm crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and house trained. Basically, I'm a good boy through and through. Sometimes new places or loud noises make me a little nervous, and I take daily meds to help with my anxiety. But if you're gentle, patient, and kind, I'll warm up quickly and show you just how sweet, loyal, and goofy I really am. My foster mom is a vet behaviorist and says I'm doing amazing - she's even offering lifetime support for my forever family! I do best in a calm, structured home - no cats, no dogs, no kids - with 1-3 people who will give me love, kindness, and maybe a soft spot on the couch to call my own. I thrive with positive reinforcement, consistency, and a patient hand. I'll bring endless laughter, love, and cuddles to your life if you give me the chance. *A word from my foster:* "Walter is such a goofball and constantly makes us laugh. He loves pretending to be a lap dog and insists on snuggling with us on the couch or in bed. He just loves life and brings so much joy to ours. Mercy Full Project's Adoption Policy

Our adoptable dogs have been vetted/fixed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. We also ask for an adoption fee that ranges between $150- $600 this is a tax deductible donation that supports our animal rescue efforts. We are a foster based Animal Rescue so we do not house pet rescues on location. All rescues are in foster homes receiving love & cuddles. We ask for a little patience during this process, as often times our volunteer Adoption Coordinators are managing many applications per dog. Adoption process step by step: 1. View animal online( website, pet finder, social media) 2. Fill out adoption form and we will contact you 3. Schedule a meet-and-greet ( Meet-and-greets are at the convenience of the foster parent. We will always try to be as accommodating as possible.) 4. Application approval 5. Home pictures 6. Adoption contract 7. Payment of adoption fee 8. Get your home ready for pick up of your adopted pet 9. We will send all records and adoption certificate 10.Please share a family picture to share your "HAPPY TAILS"
