Walter is a very special little guy who knows what it means to be deeply loved. Unfortunately, unexpected health challenges forced his previous family to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him. Now, we’re hoping to find someone who will cherish him just as much.<br/><br/>And Walter is certainly accustomed to being spoiled!<br/><br/>This sweet little gentleman loves bath time, wearing his pajamas, snuggling, and being carried around by his favorite person. Because Walter is blind, his previous owner even read him bedtime stories, and their hope was someone would continue that with him, so they sent along his book collection! He also loves stroller rides and exploring the outdoors through smells and sounds.<br/><br/>Walter does fine with other dogs but doesn’t seek out their companionship. Because he can’t see what’s happening around him, too much commotion can be overwhelming. A quieter home would be ideal.<br/><br/>Walter also takes heart medication, which can be a little pricey, so his new family must be prepared for that ongoing commitment.<br/><br/>Most importantly, Walter needs someone with plenty of time and love to give.
