WALTER's Story

Meet Walter. He is a 1 year old, male, mixed breed. He has been really blossoming beautifully in his foster home but still needs a forever home. Due to his foster status he is available by appointment only. Please call (401) 467-3670 or email HeartofRIadoption@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet him.
When he first arrived, he was shy and unsure, but with time, patience, and the steady friendship of his buddy June, his true personality has started to shine. Walter takes comfort in routine, kind voices, and the calm presence of people he trusts. A home with another friendly dog would help him feel secure, he gets along with cats, and older children or teens would be a great match for his gentle nature. Walter’s journey from timid to trusting has been remarkable, and he’s ready to keep growing with a family who will give him the steady love he deserves.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1.
