Walnut's Story

Walnut is an 8 month male Shepherd mix with an irresistible face and an even sweeter personality. This super cute boy may be young, but he is already quite the gentleman! He is easy on a leash, knows “Sit,” and is always eager to please his human friends. Walnut recently went on a Dog Day Out and was such a Good Boy! He politely strolled around the Square, showed himself to be a “perfect patio pup” during lunch, and quietly stole hearts everywhere he went. Walnut has the sweetest way of laying right by your side, simply happy to soak in a beautiful day together. There’s just something incredibly special about Walnut ... a little shy at first, but oh-so-sweet, gentle, and full of quiet love. He’s the kind of pup who forms deep bonds - and once he knows you, he’ll melt right into you with the softest, full-body hugs. Walnut is at the perfect age to grow and learn with his forever family, making him a wonderful candidate for continued training once in his new home. So come meet Walnut soon, and take home your lifelong companion.
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
